Studied under Robert  Stockfis, Trinity College of Music, Manchester, England. 1976-1978

Received First Prize from the British Federation of Music, Classical Guitar Competition, Manchester, England. 1978.

At a subsequent meeting with Andres Segovia, Marc was urged by the Maestro to "Continue Studies!"

Graduated Clifton College, Bristol, England. 1982 Emigrated to the United states to study under John Sutherland, Georgia State University, Atlanta, Georgia. 1983-1985 Marc has been playing and teaching in Atlanta since 1986. He has performed music for corporate events, receptions, cocktail parties and wedding ceremonies.

Recent clients include the Chateau Elan Winery, Dawson County Arts Council, Turner Broadcasting and the High Museum of Art.

In 2006-2007 Marc has played in England, America, France, Italy, Austria, Holland, Greece, Hungary and Slovakia.

The guitar is one of the few instruments that "cross" all musical barriers and Marc plays to extremely varied audiences. As well as the standard classical and baroque repertoire, Marc has a special interest in Spanish and Latin American composers.

Recently interviewed on Atlanta radio, his music was described as "Hauntingly Beautiful!"

In His Own Words

Recently, I've been traveling the world performing my "Marc meets Segovia" tour. With music and stories about the composers, who inspires me, my life and troubles!

Actually, I have two shows. One for the kiddies, at the local school to promote the guitar, music, history, geography, but mostly, I just play and it's free!

The other, is for the grown-ups. It's about the composers, who inspires me, my life and troubles! Like the time I met John Williams and he didn't give me a guitar, although I had better luck with Andres... Again, mostly, I just play, and this one is not free.
